Summary:
We had to keep our list of needs pretty basic in order to meet the budget given. A printer and scanner are a must need for the classroom to save time in having to leave the classroom to get something from the printer. We also needed a digital and overhead projector to make presenting information to the children easier in the classroom. With that we also put a projector screen on our list which is needed along with the two projectors. A cd player would be helpful in the classroom for learning cds as well as playing relaxing music while the children are doing their work. We needed five new computers for the classroom but purchasing desktops would have exceeded our budget so instead we purchased five ipads. We also purchased 25 desktop/ipad compatible headphones for the children to be able to work independently. Our total cost came out to $5,603.70 which is a little under budget.
